With the New Year well underway with it brings those New Year post work soirees. We’d all love to have the time to spend hours getting ready but the majority of the time that simply isn't an option. Here are a few tips to get you party ready from the confines of your
desk. All you need are a few key products and a compact mirror.
After a full day of work your skin can often feel cakey, dry and oily at the same time so why not refresh the skin with some
sort of Facial Spray that will freshen
up your makeup and keep your skin looking and feeling hydrated.
Concealer can banish all manner of sins, from redness and blemishes to dark
circles, whatever your issue, concealer is the answer. Rather than
adding another layer of foundation, refresh your base with touches of concealer
in key areas such as sides of the nose, forehead and chin.
Dry Shampoo, we have all been there,
about to leave the house when you realise that your hair is actually a
lot greasier than you had thought. So make sure you pack a dry shampoo into your office desk to ensure added
volume, texture and of course banishing those greasy roots.
For those with an oily skin Powder is crucial for an evening look. Set your makeup in place and banish
any unwanted shine with a touch of Powder,
giving you a mattified but not flat complexion.
A smokey eye isn't always the easiest thing to do with limited time, so instead opt for a Bold Lip, it equals
instant glamour and is in fact reasonably easy to achieve. Personally I find lip crayons
are the easiest for achieving this quickly and precisely and eliminates the
need of a lip liner.
Keep a selection of these
multi-tasking miracle working products in your desk all year round and those
last minute party invitations will no longer be a worry.
